Henry Ford - The great American Industrialist
Starting in 1903, with the founding of his own company, Henry Ford has had major influence on his time period and the current time period. Ford is well known for his influence in industrialization, the economy of the United States, and he also had some profound effects on the world politically and economically. Not only was he the founder of Ford Motor Company, which still exists to this day, but he is also known for perfecting the system of a moving assembly line, that brought great advancements to the automobile industry as well as most other industries. His assembly line, with its great efficiency, mass-produced the first affordable automobile, known as the Model T. His major successes include the creation of the moving assembly line, the first American affordable automobile, stimulating the seemingly unimpressive automobile industry at the time to the necessity it is today, and causing the United States to shrink because of the immense amount of transportation he created. Although Henry Ford was an industrialist who eventually became very wealthy, he truly helped the lower class and his fellow industrialists, and for that, Henry Ford is truly a great American industrialist that is worth remembering in the span of American history.
